INTRODUCING

Our Dental Services

Crowns, Fillings, Bridges, Cleanings

Nothing lasts forever – You may have had your teeth fixed years ago, but stuff happens. Crowns break, fillings fail, teeth get loose, infections strike, cavities are relentless. It’s a long life and some folk suffer tooth problems all of their lives.

Dental Implants

If you are healthy enough, can invest more in yourself, and want the most lifelike tooth replacements, then dental implants may be for you. I use them commonly for screwed in tooth replacements, or for snapped-in removable partials and/or dentures.

Extractions

Simple, easy extractions as well as more involved, surgical extractions. In the past seven years, I personally have extracted over 16,000 teeth. And it remains the least expensive choice for a problem tooth.

Immediate Dentures and Partials

Many folk require immediate replacement of an extracted tooth(s). There are multiple appointments and adjustments needed to transition out of bad teeth into final removable replacements. We do it all in house and it works wonderfully.

Hi, I'm Dr. Paul Searby, Houston's only Elder Dentist.

Why do us older folk, retirees, and the elderly need a Specialist? “Growing old hurts!” Told to me by a retiree who was headed to complete shoulder replacement surgery. Ouch. Plus months of painful therapy to get back to 60% maybe. Dang, something always gets ya…

We can’t control aging, chronic illnesses, or unhappy losses to the ones we love. Dammit.

But I have some good news. You CAN be happy with your smile again. Smiles are fixable, at least. And you can markedly improve your smile and/or chewing function so you can enjoy your meals and holidays with family and friends. Take whatever bliss that you can find!

WHAT WE OFFER

Areas of Dental Practices

Replacement of old worn out dentures and partials

Nothing last forever. Dentures and partials eventually will no longer fit and start hurting. Plastic breaks. Bone and gums never stop shrinking. Anchor teeth are lost.  Denture teeth are worn down flat or break off. Eventually you can’t ignore it and need a new one. We make them right here every day.

Remaking of poorly made dentures and partials

I’ve seen some really ugly teeth lately. There is a high degree of Artistry involved in crafting a new denture or partial denture. Very few dentists can manage it or even care to try. It’s a dying art but one we excel in, in my humble opinion. Because an Elder Dentist has an on-site denture laboratory and artist/technicians who custom craft every single prosthesis. Beautifully and Comfortably.

Dry Mouth Cavity Treatment Program

If you’ve lost teeth to cavities, I’ll bet it’s due to either sweets or dry mouth. I have designed a Dry Mouth Cavity Treatment Program to halt and repair these termite-like cavities – without drills or shots. It may be the only way you can keep what teeth you have. Available only at my Elder Dentist office.

My father went to this location for dentures and was treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. He said Dr. Searby and his entire staff treated him like he was family from the moment he walked in the door! Not only that, his dentures came out looking amazing! The fitting and adjustment appointments were fast, and he had his new dentures very quickly. I want this location to know how grateful my Dad and I are for the services they provided him.
